The program commenced with the felicitation of our esteemed Principal Ma’am and BA.LLB student Dhanashree through the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony. This honor was carried out by the In-Charge of the Cultural Committee, Assistant Professor Neha Kachi.

Following this, the Principal delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of Marathi Bhasha Diwas, emphasizing the rich heritage and significance of the Marathi language in literature and culture.

The event was beautifully anchored by Shivani Khanolkar (LLM 2nd year) and Ashok Gharat (1st LLB), whose engaging presence kept the audience captivated throughout the program.

The celebration featured a variety of performances, including: 

A speech competition, where students eloquently expressed their thoughts on Marathi language and literature.

A poetry recitation competition, showcasing the beauty of Marathi poetry.

A fun and interactive activity, where participants had to speak continuously for one minute in Marathi and identify pictures displayed on the screen by naming them in Marathi. This activity was successfully conducted by Chaitrali Kane and Students General Secretary Prerna Gaikwad, along with the full support of the Students' Council. Their efforts ensured enthusiastic participation and made the session lively and enjoyable.

As the program drew to a close, Mrunal Patekar, the Student Representative of the Cultural Committee, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making the event a success.

The celebration concluded on a high note, leaving everyone with a deeper appreciation for Marathi language, traditions, and cultural heritage.
