On the occasion of National Youth Day which is celebrated in the memory of Swami Vivekanand, Bhagubai Changu Thakur College of Law, New Panvel organized a respectful tribute ceremony to honour Swami Vivekanand. The event was directed by the National Day Celebration Committee under Asst Prof Sangram Pawar, was held with great reverence on January 18,2025, in the Seminar hall of college.

          The program commenced with garlanding of the photo frames by the Guest Speaker Mr. Vijay Vasant Vedpathak, Asst. Prof. Dhanashri kadam, BA.LL.B. Coordinator accompanied by Asst Prof Sangram Pawar. The event, held at 10:00 AM, featured Mr. Vijay Vasant Vedpathak from Vivek Vichar Manch as the resource person for thr same. The lecture was centered on the topic, "Today's student is not only the citizen of tomorrow but also of today."

          Mr. Vedpathak delivered an insightful session, addressing critical issues such as caste discrimination, environmental conservation, and the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. His discourse emphasized the active role of students in shaping both the present and future society. The session inspired the audience to adopt progressive and inclusive approaches in their daily lives while fostering a sense of responsibility toward the environment and society. The lecture was well-received by the attendees, leaving a lasting impact on their perspectives regarding youth empowerment and societal contributions.

          The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Asst Prof Sangram Pawar, acknowledging the efforts of the JBSP Sanstha and the valuable insights shared by the speaker.
